Throwing Accuracy : Stidham has had always had accuracy questions when he was coming out of high school in 2015. Stidham has been a great athlete at Auburn but on thing he really has improved was accuracy. Throwing over 60% in back to back season in a very high paced, very complex offense, Stidham has shown he can put the “NFL touch” into his throws. With being a freak athlete, he can also beat you throwing in the short and medium range where he really showed he improved at his time in college.

Decision Making : Stidham is a big play arm guy that sometimes wants to show his arm strength off and force a ball down field rather than make the right throw. If he learns the NFL style of being a quarterback, like Mayfield did, he can be very effective in making the right throws to go along with the home run passes.

Pocket Awareness/Poise : Stidham is very advanced in being patient and finding the right guy open. He rarely ever misses his open target and has very high Quarterback IQ. What helps him as well is his athleticism. He can make plays continue and figure what his best option is.

Arm Strength : In this class, Stidham might have the best arm strength in the draft. He can beat any defender in the deep ball. Or throw it right by your face in short to intermediate passes. There is no doubt that he can sling the rock, the question that comes up is, can he control it? If he could, he could be very effective.

Arm Talent : If you like quarterbacks that can throw from a various amount of arm slots and be effective, Stidham won’t be your favorite. He throws from over top from the pocket and on the run, but he does it better than everyone else in college football. He has a great ball, tight spiral almost every time the ball is released from his hand and looks pretty. If you are a fan of the traditional quarterback throw, Stidham is the guy.

Summary/Pro Transition : Now with Oregon star Justin Herbert going back to his senior year, and some high guys not having great bowl games, Stidham might have slid into the top 3 quarterback prospects with Will Grier and Drew Lock. Stidham knows how to run a high powering, fast, and complex offense from being at Auburn. Learning a pro style offense might take some time but Stidham is intelligent enough to learn fast and can be effective with the right mentor.

Pro Comparison: Cam Newton/Deshaun Watson

Career Stats/Highlights: In 37 games plays, Stidham has thrown for 7,217 yards and 48 touchdowns. He also boasts a career completion percentage of 64.3 and has thrown just 13 interceptions. Stidham has also scored an additional nine times on the ground.
