6. Packers ↓ 1

This is not the McCarthy ‘s Packers anymore. This team is still lead by Aaron Rodgers at the helm but can now finally back him up with a dominating ground game and good defense. Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams in the backfield is a deadly tandem for any team, especially when you split Aaron Jones out wide. He is tied for the league lead in total touchdowns with Christian McCaffery. The defense started the year extremely well yet of lately has tapered off. It can still produce good results with the way the offense is playing.

7. Vikings ↔

Kirk Cousins finally has shown that he is a competent quarterback that can still beat the teams he should. It may have been against a 4-6 Broncos squad with a rookie quarterback. Yet, when the team needed scores he came through in the clutch. Now not every week can the team do this comeback win, but when you have the second-leading rusher in Dalvin Cook and a Mike Zimmerman defense playing well it won’t matter. This win also helps them keep pace with the Packers for the NFC North crown later this year.

8. Chiefs ↔

It was only a matter of time before Patrick Mahomes is back and leading his team to victory. He was stifled by a good Chargers defense early in the game but came back calm, cool, and collected after halftime. He relied upon his favorite target Travis Kelce and an opportunistic defense that picked off Phillip Rivers four times in the game. If this defense can bend and not break, as well as the skill positions players stay away from the injury bug then this team can be a playoff contender. Mahomes will always get his points, we just need to make sure the defense is up to the task.

9. Cowboys ↔

Dak Prescott is earning every bit of money coming to him in the offseason. Another 400-yard passing game, and another brilliant performance for Prescott. He had his number two and three receivers dominating his game as Amari Cooper was held to three catches and 38 yards. While both Randall Cobb and Michael Gallup both had over 100 yards. As well Ezekiel Elliot got involved in the running and passing game scoring off a beautifully set screen pass. When the Cowboys can do this, they can be a surprise contender in the playoffs and a favorite to win the NFC East.

10. Rams ↑ 2

I know it may be hard to believe that the Rams are a top 10 squad but listen to the facts. They have lost key pieces to their line and the running game with Todd Gurley hasn’t been the same all year. Yet when they needed to find an identity with two starting receivers out of the game, they turned to Gurley and the defense to win the game. Jared Goff had a few good passes to help balance the attack, but this game was won because that defense has nullified whatever the Bears wanted to do. The addition of Jalen Ramsey to the team is making it one of the toughest in the NFL to go against the last four weeks. It seems to only be gelling together more as the season wears on.
