Who Is Tom Brady Going to Throw the Ball To?

             Where did everyone go? It’s not the like patriots were struggling at the WR position before. Now they are letting Cordarrelle Patterson, Phillip Dorsett, and Chris Hogan all hit the open market. They gave Dorsett a shot. They gave him a chance to start. He just didn’t live up to expectations. Yes, the kid can run fast, but you must be able to catch the ball. He fell through on a lot of crucial plays, and there is a lot of depth in the upcoming draft at the WR position to find a replacement for him. Hogan hasn’t become that outbreak he seemed he was going to be like his first season with the team. He’s been with the team for 3 years and put up 10 total touchdowns in the regular season. You can’t really consider Hogan and number 1 or 2 receiver for the Patriots. The Patriots are used to their receivers getting open and putting up big numbers. He is not that. You can blame some of the offensive struggles this season on Brady, but a lot of it came from receivers not creating separation and making plays. Now letting Cordarrelle Patterson came as a surprise. The Patriots love to shift players around, he was useful, and they could have paired him more with James White for those RB quick passes, and screens. Patterson was reliable on kick returns and runs out the backfield. Look for him to go to a team like the Ravens who love to run the ball.
