When Adam Gase went from the Dolphins to the Jets it left everyone in confusion. No one understood exactly why he remained in the division. But now we just might have the answer. New LB Mosley released a report saying Gase came to the team for the same reason most of the new additions did, to WIN.

I mean yes, the idea for every team is to win, but the Jets mean this in a different way. The Jets want to beat New England. They believe the division is theirs for the taking this year. And they might just have the chance to get it done for multiple reasons. The Jets play New England late in the season, which is bad. That's going they have fixed all their holes and are playing at full potential.

But now, they face off Week 3 and Week 7. I honestly don’t see the Jets coming into the Patriots house week 3 and winning. But they now have Bell, who the Patriots at times have a hard time stopping. So that means although I don’t see it, anything can happen.

The Jets haven’t beat the Patriots since back in 2015. They are on a long losing streak. This season could be different and week 7 could be their time to shine. That’s the middle of the season when Patriots play poorly. This is the time right before they start to get back on track.

The Jets have high hopes this season and a favorable schedule to live up to those hopes. They got some new additions and they might just have all the pieces for success. Ultimately their season will depend on QB play and the offense. The defense is there. They must be able to put up points when they come across teams like the Patriots.
