With free agency basically wrapped up and training camp approaching, fans are itching to get to the 2019 season, and there are a few teams that should excite their fans this year. Let’s look at three teams that are going to be on everybody’s radar throughout the entire season.

New York Jets

If you did not know already, the New York Jets are coming into this season with extremely high expectations. Coming off a 4-12 season, the Jets went into the offseason in attack mode, signing C.J. Mosley, Le’Veon Bell, and traded for offensive lineman Kelechi Osemele. These moves gave them a leader, a playmaker, and a trench worker, which are vital to a team’s chemistry and success. Gang Green also made moves on the coaching staff and the front office with the hiring of Adam Gase and the firing of GM Mike Maccagnan, which is ironic because he was the one who made those moves. Will the Jets take the next step, or will they be the same old Jets with outside noise distracting their play on the field?

Arizona Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals are going to be on the hot seat for the entire year due to their extreme change of direction from quarterback to quarterback. Last year, Arizona took Josh Rosen to be their starting quarterback for the future. Fast forward a year ahead, and Josh Rosen has been shipped to Miami, and Heisman Trophy winner Kyler Murray was drafted as the 1st overall pick in this year’s draft. While Rosen did not have a good year, he did not have much help around him, given he had one of the worst rosters around him in the NFL. If Kyler Murray is a bust and Josh Rosen becomes the new star quarterback, Arizona could be kicking themselves for many years to come.

Cleveland Browns

Just like the Jets, the Cleveland Browns coming into this year with very high expectations. The only difference is that the Browns have already improved last year, and this year might be picked as the favorites to win the AFC North. Additions such as Odell Beckham Jr., Kareem Hunt, Greedy Williams, and Mack Wilson (via the draft, free agency, and trade), the Browns made drastic improvements to their team. Also, they have a guy with the name of Baker Mayfield, who is a budding star in the NFL and is poised to make the jump from “good” to “elite”. Will the Browns step up or step down this year? I feel if Baker Mayfield can keep his team focused on winning, the Browns can be serious contenders.
