NFC East Draft Grades
Dallas Cowboys: C-
Summary: The Dallas Cowboys had a draft that I actually laughed at. Trysten Hill in the 2nd was both a reach and a bad pick considering they could’ve had Nasir Adderley. Connor Mcgovern should be a solid back up on the offensive line. Pollard could be a solid backup running back. In reality, Dallas had 8 picks and either picked a player with less need or less talent and did not pick anyone who I expect to make a real impact immediately.
New York Giants: C+
Summary: While we all know the Giants reached massively taking Daniel Jones at 6 overall, they did have some solid picks. Dexter Lawrence will essentially just step into the role that Snacks Harrison had been holding down for NY. Ximines should provide some solid production. Julian Love will most likely be the starting slot corner. New York did not use their picks up to their potential but the pure amount of early picks they had will make them have at least a couple of guys be hits.
Washington Redskins: A
Summary: The Redskins could arguably have had the best draft in the league. They secured their franchise QB at the 15th overall pick. Montez Sweat could become one of the best players to come out of this draft class. I was very high on Bryce Love and being behind Adrian Peterson and Derrius Guice will be the perfect place for him to learn and develop. Kelvin Harmon is a bit of a mystery on he could either be great or a waste of a pick.
Philadelphia Eagles: A-
Summary: Philadelphia did a great job of getting value from their picks. They moved up to get possibly the best tackle in the draft in Andre Dillard who looks to be the future replacement to Jason Peters. Miles Saunders gives the Eagles another back that could step into that RB1 role and will look to split snaps with Jordan Howard and Corey Clement. JJ Arcega Whiteside adds another massive red zone target for Wentz and could be the possible future replacement for Alshon Jeffery.
