13. Michael Thomas

With high expectations in 2019, the New Orleans Saints are looking for revenge on the Los Angeles Rams. A big factor of that will be star wide receiver Michael Thomas, who cashed in on a massive contract extension this summer. For his career, the Ohio State product has 321 catches for 23 touchdowns on 3,787 yards. Year in and year out, Thomas is at the top of the list for receptions, as he has easily became the favorite target for future Hall of Famer QB Drew Brees. Will Thomas live up to his contract in 2019 and more importantly, will he help lead the Saints to the promised land?

12. Fletcher Cox

Coming in at number 12 is defensive tackle, Fletcher Cox. In my eyes, Cox is often overlooked for whatever reason, but his numbers show why he is one of the best of the best on the defensive side of the ball. In 2018, the 28-year old had 10.5 sacks, 33 solo tackles and disrupted quarterbacks every time they dropped back. For his career, Cox has a total of 44.5 sacks and has been in the NFL for 8 years. The Eagles are one of the most complete teams in the NFL. If a Super Bowl title is hoisted in Philadelphia, it could very well be because of this man clogging up the middle.

11. J.J. Watt

Unlike Cox, number eleven on this list is very well known around the NFL. Whether it is destroying offensive linemen, swatting passes, or helping a good cause off the field, J.J. Watt is a special player in this league. For his resume, Watt has 5 All-Pro and Pro Bowl selections and is a 2x Defensive Player of the Year winner. The future Hall of Famer has played 104 games for Houston and has forced 22 fumbles, collected 92 sacks, and racked up 455 tackles over this time. Besides the numbers, Watt has also been named Walter Payton Man of the Year, which shows his dedication to his community. If I am starting a franchise, J.J. Watt is one of the first guys that would come to my mind.
