After nine weeks, we are getting closer and closer to the fantasy playoffs. If you are someone looking to make a playoff push or solidify your positioning and are in need of replacements for the week, then here are some players that should be able to get the job done.

Jared Goff, Los Angeles Rams, Quarterback

After getting torched for 433 yards and four touchdowns by Josh Allen, the Seahawks defense has now allowed 362+ yards and/or multiple touchdowns to quarterbacks in every game this season. Although the Rams prefer to keep the ball on the ground, the Seahawks defense has been solid against the run. Considering Goff is coming off a season-high in passing yards and attempts in his last appearance, he should be able to take advantage of a favorable secondary this Sunday.

J.D. McKissic, Washington Football Team, Running Back

McKissic has been a reliable fantasy option, posting at least six receptions for 40+ yards in four of his last five games. Coming off a season-high in receptions and receiving yards, McKissic should continue to play a role against a Lions defense that just surrendered 246 yards and two touchdowns to Dalvin Cook.

Curtis Samuel, Carolina Panthers, Wide Receiver

Coming off of nine receptions and 118 yards, Samuel has now posted 53+ yards and a touchdown in his last three appearances. This breakout performance and the injury to McCaffery should allow Samuel to continue playing a major role on the ground and through the air for his offense. Even in a tough matchup against the Buccaneers, Samuel’s rushing and receiving ability provides him with a safe floor and a high ceiling this weekend.

Irv Smith Jr., Minnesota Vikings, Tight End

After a down performance in a windy game, where Cousins only attempted fourteen passes, Smith was able to bounce back last weekend. He has been a reliable option in recent weeks, posting 55+ yards or two touchdowns in three of his last four appearances. Facing a Lions defense that has allowed at least 52 yards and/or a touchdown to a tight end in seven of eight games, Smith has the chance to produce once again in a favorable matchup this Sunday.

Philadelphia Eagles, D/ST

The New York Giants have yet to beat an opponent not named the Washington Football Team. This is an offense that has been very generous to defenses, specifically Daniel Jones who has thirteen turnovers this season. The Eagles were able to secure three of them in their previous matchup and coming off a bye they should be fully rested to once again take advantage of a struggling division rival this weekend.
