Fantasy Football Week 14 Starts of the Week: Playoffs?!
Welcome to week 14 also known as the first week of the playoffs. It’s been a wild season but it’s not over yet. If you are looking to secure a championship, then here are some players that should be able to help you advance this week.
Kirk Cousins, Minnesota Vikings, Quarterback
Cousins has been on a roll, throwing for over 300 yards and three touchdowns in his last three appearances. He’ll look to continue his momentum against a solid Buccaneers run defense that has been torched through the air, surrendering 376+ passing yards and three touchdowns to quarterbacks in back to back games. With two elite pass catchers in Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen, Cousins should have plenty of weapons to have another big day this weekend.
Wayne Gallman, New York Giants, Running Back
After rushing for a season-high 135 yards, Gallman gets to face a Cardinals defense that just allowed 74+ yards and a touchdown to two running backs last weekend. Given the favorable matchup, Gallman should see plenty of opportunities to produce another solid performance this Sunday.
Robby Anderson, Carolina Panthers, Wide Receiver
With DJ Moore and Curtis Samuel placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list, Robby Anderson could be in line for a heavy workload. Coming off a bye and posting 94 yards and a touchdown is his last appearance, Anderson should be fully rested to play another major role this Sunday.
Noah Fant, Denver Broncos, Tight End
In their last seven games, the Panthers have allowed 54 yards and/or a touchdown to tight ends. After leading the team in targets in his last appearance, Fant should be able to produce as long as he continues to see opportunities in a favorable matchup this Sunday.
