He got his first career start at Arizona State and responded with 144 all-purpose yards, getting 62 yards on 20 carries and 82 yards on 4 catches with 2 TDs (8 and 58 yards, dragging defenders the last 20 yards on his second TD) to earn Pac-12 Freshman Player of the Week honors

HIGH SCHOOL: 

He made 2018 PrepStar All-Western Region, Tacoma News Tribune Western 100, Cal-Hi Sports All-State second team and All-CIF San Diego third team as senior running back and cornerback at Madison High in San Diego (Calif.).  He ran for 980 yards on 127 carries (7.7 avg) with 11 TD and caught 9 passes for 122 yards (13.6 avg) with 1 TD in 2018. 

As a junior in 2017, he made All-CIF San Diego second team as he ran for 1,233 yards on 111 carries (11.1 avg) with 16 TDs and caught 6 passes for 107 yards (17.8 avg) with 1 TD
