Antonio Brown to the Jets?

The Jets currently have over $95 million available cap space. But what will Mike Maccagnan and Adam Gases’ do with the money? They are going to get Darnold some help on the outside. That’s for sure. Last season the Jets drafted Sam Darnold as the number 3 overall pick in the draft and their prospective future quarterback. Darnold displayed franchise quarterback material completing over 57% of his passes at 6.9 yards per attempt. While there are doubts about his decision making under pressure its clear Darnold needs a #1 receiver. That’s if they want to make a playoff run. Antonio Brown is done with the Steelers and would fit perfectly into the Jets system. The Jets like to hit you with those outside runs (Jet Sweeps), and deep play action routes. Brown is explosive out the backfield, and there is a reason he his double covered on every play. The man’s hands are like glue. With a guy on the outside like Brown, that will open up doors for WR Anderson, RB Crowell, and company. As the weeks come Brown is going to be looking for the big bucks and the Jets have a wallet fat enough to meet his needs. The question is will they go after Brown or do they have other intentions? The Jets go into the offseason with no 2nd round pick. Are they willing to give up a first round pick and “good player” to acquire Brown via trade?
