After missing the playoffs in 2018, it is safe to say that the Pittsburgh Steelers had a lost season with way too many distractions. First, their star running back held out for the entire season. Then, Big Ben called out his teammates which were a very selfish act. Lastly, star wide receiver Antonio Brown wants to be traded. Sources confirmed that Antonio Brown and president Art Rooney have agreed to move on from the All-Pro wideout. Now the million-dollar question is who gets AB? Keep reading to see the possible targets.

New York Jets

Brown going to the Jets would make perfect sense, a dysfunctional franchise dealing with a dysfunctional situation. On a serious note though, AB would fit the Jets perfectly for the right price. Gang Green has lacked a playmaker on the outside for over a decade now, and Brown would be able to change that. With a young offense led by a potential perennial star in quarterback Sam Darnold, Brown can give the young quarterback an option downfield so he can spray the ball around the way he did in USC. Brown would team with Quincy Enunwa and Robby Anderson to complete a talented, and very underrated, receiving core. If the Jets were able to pull off this deal but leave the drama out of the deal, watch out for Darnold to explode with AB on the outside for him to go up and get it in 2019.

San Francisco 49ers

The team that the world is talking about getting the 4-time All-Pro is the 49ers. San Francisco, coming off a lost season mainly because of a torn ACL to quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, have been heavy favorites to land Brown since reports came out that he wanted to be traded due to expressive interest from Brown. With an already good defense led by Richard Sherman, an offense featuring Matt Breida, Jimmy G, and breakout tight end George Kittle, AB could as well be the piece that was missing from the puzzle for the team out west. Garoppolo has proved that he can win at the NFL level, and giving him an option like Brown could give him a similar situation to the Jets. Like Darnold, Jimmy Garoppolo can break out with a receiver like Brown in the offense and could make the 49ers serious contenders in 2019.
