Home – 3 losses at home

Bills: Win – The Bills aren’t going to do anything this season. Yes, they have a defense, and defense wins games but what happened last season? Nothing which is exactly where they are heading. Into nothing. The Bills will be rebuilding for at least the next 3 seasons, they won’t be contenders for time to come.

Dolphins: Win – The Dolphins can’t win on the road against this defense. The new head coach will bring some style to this team. However, the Jets are young. This defense was great last season, and with new additions this offseason, they will be better. This will be your classic 20-17 game or something around that. Jets will come away with a late game field goal.

Patriots: Loss – This is a loss 9 times out of 10. But if this game comes late in the season, it could go the other way. The Patriots tend to play their best football in January, and their worse in December. So, if they Jets catch this team in late December they could come away with a possible win. POSSIBLE

Browns: Loss – This will be the game of who is better Sam Darnold or Baker Mayfield. Two top-five draft picks facing off in an onslaught of points and defensive play. This will most likely be a Sunday or Monday night game due to the high anticipation of both teams’ success this year. Look for these teams to maybe fight for a Divisional Round slot when playoff time comes. This game has a feel of those old Brady vs Manning matchups.

Steelers: Win – The Steelers won’t be the same this season. Ben is on the decline and their missing their 3 best players. Brown and Bell are gone. Shazier is still injured. I’m not saying the Steelers won’t win games. They still have a good coach and players around the ball. However, it’s not like the Patriots losing their best players every season because of money. The Steelers lost 3 people who make a huge difference, and it will show. Bell is going to go to town on this defense, showing the Steelers exactly what they game up on.

Raiders: Win – The Raiders have a lot of rebuilding to do. It will be a nice reunion for Bell and Brown, although the two may never touch the field at the same time. The Raiders seem to put on a good game when necessary, and this seems this will be that necessary game. I see this being a high scoring game of over 60 points. The Jets will just come out ahead because Bell will run all over this tired defense in the 4th quarter.

Cowboys: Loss – Dak is finally getting some of the weapons he deserves. I think the Cowboys will win their division again like they did his rookie season. The Cowboys will be hot this season. I don’t see them losing more than 4 games.

Giants: Win – It’s the Giants, need I say more?

Away – 3 losses on the road

Bills: Win – We talked about this already. The bills will win a maximum 5 games this season, and none of them are coming from the Jets.

Dolphins: Win – They come to the Dolphins house, we get a good divisional low scoring defensive game. The Jets come out ahead because Bell comes away with a late game touchdown to put the game away. I honestly don’t see the Dolphins being able to stop Bell and this offense for the whole game. The Dolphins may start off strong, but as the defense gets tired, the Jets offense will shine.

Patriots: Loss – Gillette Stadium? Tom Brady? Bill Belichick? I don’t think there is much more to say.

Ravens: Loss – The Ravens will start the season as underdogs in their division compared to the Browns and Steelers. However, this is a team to fear. They have always been about defense, and now they are forming a good offense. This will most likely come down to Mark Ingram Vs Le’Veon Bell. Who can run the ball better, and who can help the passing game the most? That what this will come down to. This game was so hard to count the Jets out, but I just don’t see the offense overcoming this defense.

Bengals: Win - Andy Dalton hasn’t played at a high level in 2 years. I mean you forget the guy is even on the team the way they play. The problem with the Bengals is they play hard, but they play dirty. It cost them every time. When you’re getting 7 penalties a game, you can’t win. And that’s exactly what is going to cost them this game. Turnovers by the quarterback and penalties on the defense.

Jaguars: Loss – I like this team. Sacksonville is back. Now they have what they need. A leader. If Nick Foles can transition into this offense, they will be a force to be reckoned with. This is a playoff team, and they will win their division based on their schedule. The Jets aren’t going to be able to handle this pass rush. And Bell is not going to be able to escape these linebackers and safeties. Yes, he will have 100 rushing yards, its Bell. He’s going to come back for his best RB in the league title. However, it’s going to be a struggle to get the ball in that endzone against this team.

Eagles: Win - Although this is an away game, I give it to them. It will be a good game. There will be a decent amount of points scored but the overall factor will be defense. Darnold can let that thing fly, and the Eagles secondary is still a little shaky.

Redskins: Win – The Redskins have a good team. Without their leader on the field, they are nothing. They put their chips on Alex Smith and it cost them. There is no telling exactly what week he is coming back. The Redskin will struggle for a better part of the season. This game might even be a blowout.

The Jets can very well go 10-6 this season. That should get them at least a wild-card spot. When Tom Brady retires, look for the Jets to attempt to take over this division.
