After several games were in jeopardy over COVID concerns, we were able to make it through a full week without any cancelations. However, we have seen games get postponed this season, making it a priority to stay up to date with any schedule changes. As of right now, every game for week 7 is to be played as scheduled. If it all goes as planned, here are some players that should be able to provide a starting value for the week at each position.

Justin Herbert, Los Angeles Chargers, Quarterback

Justin Herbert has been a promising first-round pick and his talent has been on full display. Although Herbert has thrown for three or more touchdowns in his last two games, his defense has allowed 30-plus points in both contests, resulting in losses. Fortunately, Hebert and the Chargers can turn things around against a Jaguars defense that has surrendered 30-plus points in their last five games and have remained winless since week 1. Herbert has shown the ability to put up points and with the talented pass catchers he has in a favorable matchup, he could have a big day and secure his first win as a starter this weekend.

Honorable Mentions: Andy Dalton, Teddy Bridgewater

Boston Scott, Philadelphia Eagles, Running Back

Although Scott disappointed in his lone start in week 1, he did leave the contest early with an injury and has shown the ability to produce in an increased role. Going back to last season, Scott’s biggest performances came against his opponent this Thursday night, the New York Giants. In both matchups, Scott combined for 266 scrimmage yards and four touchdowns. With key pass-catchers and Miles Sanders sidelined, Scott should see plenty of work through the air and on the ground to deliver a productive prime time performance.

Honorable Mentions: J.D. McKissic, Jamaal Williams

Travis Fulgham, Philadelphia Eagles, Wide Receiver

After several injuries to the Eagles’ offense, Fulgham has emerged as the most reliable option. In his last three games against tough matchups, Fulgham has produced 57-plus receiving yards and a touchdown in every contest. He has provided a safe floor and displayed a high ceiling, finishing with ten receptions for 156 yards and a touchdown two weeks ago. Fulgham has earned his role and should be able to continue his consistency this Thursday night against a more favorable Giants defense that can’t seem to stop anyone.

Honorable Mentions: Mike Williams, Tee Higgins

Darren Fells, Houston Texans, Tight End

With Jordan Aikins sidelined, Fells was able to make the most of his increased targets, finishing with a season-high of six receptions for 86 yards along with a touchdown last Sunday. Through two seasons, Fells has proven to be a reliable option for Watson in the end zone. After surrendering 627 yards and 42 points in their last contest, it’s clear the Texans are going to have to rely on their offense, and going up against an Aaron Rodgers led Packers offense, could result in another shootout and more opportunities for Darren Fells this weekend.

Honorable Mentions: Richard Rodgers, Anthony Firkser

Philadelphia Eagles, D/ST

Through six games Giants quarterback, Daniel Jones, has nine turnovers and three touchdowns. This has been a struggling team all season and even in their first win last week, they only threw for 112 yards and scored 20 points. With the injuries the Giants have sustained, this isn’t an offense we can expect much from. Given their poor offensive line and turnover-prone quarterback, there’s always the potential for sacks and turnovers for the Eagles’ defense.

Honorable Mention: Los Angeles Chargers, Dallas Cowboys
